Welcome to BBA, an archive of sample-sources from New Orleans Bounce Rap records. Here genre boundaries are used loosely, geographic boudaries more tightly. Specifically, if a NOLA rap artist utilizes a samples used frequently in Bounce music, I'm willing to document it. I've organized the samples in two columns: on the left are the "Brown Beats" and "Triggaman" lists, on the right all other known sources. Although the page has no internal search, you can find specific tracks easily with your browser's "find" function.

Beneath the Breaks section are MP3 clips of samples that need identifying, check it.

Do you remember red bean records? That has some nifty looking cd covers. They did remixes of local music and nationwide stuff. I remember hearing they got in toruble because they didnt pay for the rights to sell remixes of the songs they were using.

can you drop me an email if you know anything about them or have anything. I can't find any info on the internet.
